KOaLA - KIT's online platform for learning in the workplace - is a central platform for learning and further education opportunities at KIT.

Universities are obliged to provide their employees with regular training on certain topics. Online training can support and optimize the necessary training processes at universities, and participants can be provided with training content more quickly and conveniently.

The white paper explores commonalities in possible topics for online training and outlines five different operating models for cooperation between universities in order to exploit synergy effects in the design, development and implementation of online training. The existing legal, organizational and technical framework conditions are explained in detail for each operating model. Finally, the think tank makes a recommendation based on the analyzed operating models.
